Split-Level Garden – Carlton, Leicestershire

This split-level garden, designed by Francesca Sinclair, features two-tone Marshalls porcelain paved areas to create a family dining space. The upper lawn is reached via a sweeping staircase, again in porcelain paving, and through a modern timber pergola.

The lawn is flanked by a retaining wall clad in XTech Dark Volcanic Rust Surface cladding from Arbour Landscape Solutions.

Planting was by ourselves and the client, including pleached trees and instant hedging.

In 2020 this garden won the Marshalls Regional Award for Collaboration with a Designer.
